The decision has been made at this time and until further notice not to hold BeeKeepers after school program at the Middle School due to low enrollment. In the event this changes in the future, we will revisit the decision to reopen the Middle School program.

Dear BBH families,
Thank you and we appreciate your patience as we have been planning for reopening.
BeeKeepers will be resuming this school year starting on Tuesday, September 8 based on the Hybrid model set forth by the Board. What this means is that the program will have a Monday Tuesday group and a Thursday Friday group based on students' school day attendance. Enrollment for this model will be considered full-time. Right now, BeeKeepers is not planning to operate on Wednesday’s. We too will be utilizing that day as a deep cleaning and sanitizing day. BeeKeepers will maintain this same model until at least Thanksgiving break. At that time, BeeKeepers will reexamine and determine daily availability and staff to student ratios. This will be based not only on any Board decisions, but also School Age Child Care Licensing mandatory and recommended guidelines and state issued mandates and recommendations.
Ratios at the start of this school year will be as follows until further notice: Thirty students total per program session. Two staff will be assigned to each elementary location. Each staff member will supervise fifteen students for the entirety of the program session maintaining social distancing between groups and within those groups. Activities will be planned and executed based on group rotations. Cleaning and sanitizing will be performed on a per group, per session, daily and as needed basis.
At this time and until further notice, BeeKeepers will not be permitting drop-ins or part-time attendance. Tuition will be based on a two day a week/ full-time attendance at a flat weekly rate. Failure to attend will not result in a change in tuition. In fact, we ask and urge that if you do not need care on your school attendance days, that you do not occupy a spot that could otherwise be utilized by another family in need of care. The program will be implementing a Waitlist in the event spots open up throughout the school year. This list and contact for openings will follow the order that we have received registrations.
Families who have already turned in enrollment forms for this 2020-2021 school year will remain on file as registered. You will be contacted first to confirm your attendance based on the Hybrid model.
In the event that enrollment is too low to operate, at any location, the program may have a delayed opening. Information will be shared with families as soon as it is available.
