The Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District is pleased to assist with the promotion of events for students per board policy. Flyers are posted in an electronic format, saving paper and time but still reaching a broad audience for these events. As per Board Policy, no materials from any profit making organizations are distributed to students in any format.

Flyer Submission Guidelines:

In order to expedite your request, please use the guidelines listed below:

  • Forms should be submitted electronically as a PDF attachment to an email, directed to Superintendent, Joelle Magyar at [email protected]
  • Each flyer must include: Contact Name, Email and Phone Number.
  • Please be sure to include the desired date of posting and the date that the event ends.
  • Please supply a brief description/title of your flyer which includes the following information: Who, What, When, Where and Why for your event.
  • Flyers may be submitted any time but will ONLY be posted to Flyer Central every Wednesday. In order for us to help you promote your event, please plan accordingly.
  • Requests to building personnel will be directed to the Central Office for consideration of approval. ALL flyers must be pre-approved by the Superintendent.

BBHHS Thespian Troupe 1260 will be performing Disney's The Little Mermaid on Friday, April 3rd and Saturday, April 4th at 7 PM. A special 1 PM Matinee for students will be held on April 4th. See flyer for special coupon code for Matinee performance, as well as ticket links for all performances.
Extending Opportunities for Students with Disabilities from the Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio Twenty years ago the Cuyahoga Special Education Regional Resource Center along with the NE Ohio Parent Mentors, the Ohio Coalition for the Education of Children with Disabilities, and the Arc of Greater Cleveland came together to offer families in the greater Cleveland area an opportunity to share resources, contacts and their passion for independence, self-determination and community inclusion for students and young adults with diverse needs. The purpose of their collaboration was to ensure that students have access to opportunities that expands their academic and social-emotional needs. Today the State Support Team of Region 3, along with Educational Service Center of Cuyahoga, continue to work with school districts, community partners and families to offer professional development focused on Universal Design for Learning, Positive Behavior and Interventions and Supports, and Evidenced Based Early Literacy and Post-Secondary Transition supports. Thank you to the Greater Cuyahoga area for your continued support!

Sponsored by The Brecksville Theatre, Camp Social provides kids ages 5-15 an overview of theatre group participation, as well as fun, interactive games during their spring break, April 13-17th, from 9 AM to 3 PM each day!

The Board of Education recently made the decision to refinance the bonds associated with the construction process for the pending PreK-5 elementary building project to take advantage of low interest rates and ultimately maximize taxpayer dollars. Information about pricing on the General Obligation bonds will be made available the week of December 16, 2019, and the nearby flyer provides more detail and contact specifics for the District’s counsel.
