Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools provides special education and public preschool programming for the families in the Brecksville-Broadview Height School District. Children enrolled are taught through a developmentally appropriate and multisensory curriculum aligned with the State of Ohio’s pre-Kindergarten Content Standards.
Acceptance into the program occurs one of two ways:
1) Preschooler with a Disability: A child between the ages of three and five who demonstrates delays in one or more areas of development during the screening and evaluation process. Areas of delay include communication, motor, social/emotional/behavior, adaptive, cognitive and visual/hearing impairments. This screening/ evaluation process involves play-based activities, parent interview, formal and informal assessment.
2) Peer Role Model: A child between the ages of three and five who does NOT have special needs can apply to the program as a peer role model. Peer role models must be 3 years of age, be completely toilet-trained and demonstrate good play skills.
***2024-25 tuition is $1800.00 plus $50.00 for school fees. In order to save a spot for your child you must pay a $200.00 deposit.
PLEASE NOTE:
There are still peer model spots available for the 2024-2025 school year. Please contact Lisa Mollica at 440-740-4107 or [email protected] to schedule a screening appointment. I
