Dear Hilton Parents,
Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year at Hilton Elementary School! I am happy to be back as principal of Hilton this year. We had a wonderful first year together last year, and I look forward to yet another. I’ve been a proud administrator in the BBHCSD for the past 11 years, serving as Principal at Chippewa for two years and at Central School for eight years. Previously, I worked in the Parma City Schools for sixteen years, serving as an administrator and classroom teacher. On a personal note, my wife, Maria, is a former Hilton parent. Together, we have two children, Evelyn, who is starting her second year of college this fall, and Max, who is entering his junior year at the high school. At Hilton Elementary School, we believe that all children can learn and are entitled to an outstanding education, rich in opportunities and rewarding experiences. The children in our school are the future and will positively contribute to society. As a staff, we are committed to providing all children with a safe and nurturing environment, a love of learning, pride in Hilton School, and the skills necessary for success in the 21st Century.
Our school-wide goal is always academic excellence. To
achieve this goal, we will continually strive to positively assist each child
to reach his or her potential. Along with academic excellence, we will
seek to assist our students to respect themselves, their classmates and all
adults by fostering a caring relationship between students and staff.
Communication between home and school is extremely important to ensuring a positive and productive learning environment for all students. Should you have any questions, please feel free to call me or stop in. I will always make time for you! We proudly welcome all “New Bees” and their families to our building. If you're a current member of the Hilton family, thanks for partnering with us to support our students. I look forward to working together to make this a successful and memorable year at Hilton Elementary!
