Emergency Need for Blood

The American Red Cross has a significant blood shortage and is issuing an emergency request for eligible blood donors. Every donation matters, as blood is being distributed to hospitals faster than donations are coming in. Please make an appointment to donate blood at Brecksville-Broadview Heights Middle School on Tuesday, January 24th from 3:30-7:30pm by visiting redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code: 44147 or call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767). Students who recruit one presenting donor will receive a Red Cross baseball hat.

New Counselor

We will be utilizing Mr. Dave Whitehurst as we search for a new counselor. Mr. Whitehurst was with our district a few years ago working as a counselor and English teacher. He will be working with students on the 6th grade Red Team and all of 8th grade, while Mrs. D'Alessandro is out on medical leave. You can contact him at whitehurstd@bbhcsd.org or at (440) 740-4423.
