Kathleen Mack, President

Kathleen Mack, a graduate of Ohio University, obtained her BSED degree in 1992 and also has attained her masters degree in gifted education. Currently, she is working in the Brooklyn School District as a gifted intervention specialist. Also, in Brooklyn, Mrs. Mack coaches the 7th grade Power of the Pen Team. Mrs. Mack and her husband, Rex, have three children: Alexis, graduate of BBH attending Oregon University on a softball scholarship. The team played in the Women's College World Series in 2018; Ethan, 12th grader is a cross country/track athlete; and Chelsea, 9th grader is a Chicago Bandit softball player. Her current term expires on December 31, 2019.
Mark Dosen, Vice President

Mr. Dosen has spent most of his life as a resident of Broadview Heights. He and his wife, Marilyn, have three children: Alexandra (2011 BBHHS Graduate), Derek (2013 BBHHS Graduate) and Dana (2017 BBHHS Graduate). Mr. Dosen is also a graduate of BBHHS and has earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science with a minor in Accounting at Cleveland State University. He has spent his career in the Information Technology field and currently works as a Senior Database Technical Architect for Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. He is an active member of Saint Basil The Great Catholic Church and has been involved with our community for many years. His term expires on December 31, 2019.

Kramer was elected to the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Board of Education in
2017. Ellen has lived in Brecksville
with her husband and three children, Luke, Mia and Peter, since 2006. A partner at a Cleveland law firm,
specializing in business and consumer litigation, Ellen also has been a
volunteer attorney for the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland for more than a
decade. She also has worked in a wide
variety of roles with the PSOs at Chippewa Elementary School, Central School
and the Middle School.

Fred Pedersen was elected to the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Board of Education in 2017. Fred lived in Brecksville from 1964-1966 and with his wife of 47 years, Annette, since 2007. They have two children, Dana and Lauren, and two grandchildren. Alyssa and Chelsea.
Fred has business degrees from the University of Akron and Baldwin Wallace University. After selling his business, Fred retired in 2016 after a 42 year career in the rubber industry. He belongs to the Brecksville Kiwanis, the Brecksville Partnership for a Healthy Community, the North East Ohio Friends of Public Education and is President of the North East Ohio Iris Society.

Michael Ziegler holds Chemical Engineering and Business degrees from Purdue University and Krannert Graduate School of Business. Prior to his retirement in 2009, he served in senior management for an international organization, CEO of a private corporation and president of a public company. He and his wife, Kathy, live in Brecksville and have four grown children. Mr. Ziegler is an active volunteer in many endeavors and serves as a Board member of the Catholic Community Foundation. His current term expires on December 31, 2019.
