Seventy-five students from the BBHHS peer leadership group H.U.D.D.L.E.
(Helping Us Develop Dedication, Leadership, and Enthusiasm), participated in an engaging and hands-on leadership training opportunity at Camp Christopher in Akron on Wednesday, August 25th
. The event included a presentation and discussion concerning important topics such as stress, mental health, and diversity led by members of the High School counseling department. Students also engaged in a variety of indoor and outdoor team-building activities, including canoeing, rope ladder climbing, and zip lining. Participating students also had the opportunity to discuss leadership qualities and develop plans for future events this school year that will make a positive impact on the BBHCSD community. A special thank you to CAPA (Community Awareness & Prevention Association) Director Kelly Lazar and Project Coordinator Cheryl Stopar, and BBHHS Counseling department members Jaci Owens and Halle Means for their organization and support in making this leadership opportunity available to our students.
