HS Summer Reading & Extension

As we prepare for the 2024-25 school year, BBHHS seeks to remind students that several of our courses, particularly within the English Language Arts Department, require summer reading and extension work to be completed over the summer. This work is assigned to keep students academically engaged, limit skill erosion, and, most importantly, prevent students from being overwhelmed with large-scale assignments in the first few days of the school year.

Students are expected to have these assignments completed or very near completion within the opening days of the school year. Please select from the links below for detailed information about the specific summer reading and extension work requirements.
