The growth and achievement of BBHHS students is the result of the collaborative efforts of the entire BBHCSD community, which includes local businesses and organizations. The annual Believe in Ohio; Believe in Yourself Business Plan program is a prime example of this vital partnership and provides interested students the opportunity to craft business plans that demonstrate innovation, critical thinking, and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Participating students were drawn from BBHHS Economics classes taught by Mr. John Mutch and worked in groups on their respective business plans during the school year. On Wednesday, June 12th, the top five groups had the opportunity to present their plans to an audience composed of local business leaders and elected officials from both communities at the Brecksville Community Center. A brief question and answer period followed each presentation. A special thank you to Mr. John Klipfell from the Broadview Heights Chamber of Commerce for organizing this year’s event and retired BBHHS Economics teacher Mr. Dathan Cole for his support and hosting the awards program. Congratulations to the BBHHS students listed below who were recognized and collectively earned over $3,500 in awards!
