On behalf of everyone in the BBHCSD, congratulations to our High School art students who recently won the regional competition, effectively ascending them to a rank of semi-finalists in all of the State of Ohio. Beginning with a total of 8,113 submissions from all over the state of Ohio, 9 of our Bees were selected as regional winners, and advanced for state judging. High School student Kara Sabo’s work, entitled Sunlit Self-Portrait, was selected among 1,456 other entrants to be placed on display as one of 300 pieces at the James A. Rhodes State Office Tower in Columbus, for the Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition. Congratulations to these students, and to HS Art Instructors for inspiring excellence, regarding these extraordinary accomplishments.
