Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School recently hosted its annual Career and Military Signing ceremony, to honor the 2022 graduates who will pursue careers or military service immediately following commencement. This year’s honorees included Sonia Patel, who will be enlisting in the Ohio Army National Guard, and who received a full tuition scholarship to The Ohio State University with a special presentation by Sgt. Ryan Acker, Nathan Bleidorn, who will join the Sohar’s All Season Mower Service, Nathan Hauser, who will join Great Lakes Fence Co., Ryan Kolis, who will join the Granite Transformations team, Robert Schneider, who looks to join the Columbus Fire Department, and Christian Sokolowski, who will pursue an Apprenticeship with the Carpenter’s Union. Superintendent Joelle Magyar, Board Vice President Ellen Kramer and Member Brittany Wigman attended the heart-warming gathering in the High School media center to pay special tribute to these students. High School Principal Kevin Jakub commended the honorees for their courage and hard work, and encouraged each to become leaders in their chosen fields. Counselor Kyle Drypolcher made the Signing Day ceremony uplifting and meaningful by sharing a biography of each student who was recognized, and sharing insights about their careers at the High School. In all, the Career and Military Signing Day was a special event at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School. Congratulations to the students and their families, and thank you for all who attended.
