Congratulations to the BBHHS Music Department and students who have been selected to serve in the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) All-State groups. BBHHS will have representation from the Choir, Orchestra, and Band in each of these selective musical performance groups. To be considered for OMEA All-State selection, each student must apply and participate in an audition to qualify for the ensembles.
Band and Orchestra students must perform specific excerpts and scales, and choir students must perform Class A or Class B solo range exercises. Students are adjudicated by a panel of music educators from across the state and balanced into ensembles. The nominations reflect the superb talent and dedication of the selected students.
