Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School’s newly formed Unified Sports Team recently participated in its inaugural competitions to provide healthy and interactive contests for our special needs group and their student partners. Joining other similar organizations from area schools, BBHHS’s Unified Team took to competing on January 18th at Strongsville High School and just this past weekend at Highland High School and engaged in a variety of activities and fun contests. With approximately 20 student participants in grades 9 through 12, more competitions are on the horizon for this group with a demonstrated interest in meaningful collaboration and valuable engagement with other students from the area. Special thanks to our team of advisors for our Unified group, including Mrs. Wheelis, Mr. Sidaway, Mr. Backo, Mr. Schank, and Mr. Hanes.
