BBHHS Senior Selected as Presidential Scholar Nominee
Zach Zywiec headshot

Congratulations to Senior Zach Zywiec, who was selected as a Class of 2023 Presidential Scholar nominee. The United States Presidential Scholars Program is an honors program through the United States Department of Education and the White House Commission on Presidential Scholars. Established in 1964 by an Executive Order of the President, it recognizes some of the nation’s most distinguished graduating seniors for their accomplishments in many areas, including academic success, leadership, and service to the school and community.

The U.S. Presidential Scholar program is among the highest honors our nation’s high school students may receive. Of the nearly 3.6 million high school seniors graduating this year, approximately 5,000 students receive a nomination. In the coming months, 161 high school seniors will be selected from this pool of nominees to become distinguished U.S. Presidential Scholars. Congratulations Zach and best wishes for continued success in the future!
