Elementary Students Learn Important Safety Lessons Through D.A.R.E. Program

Over the course of the 2021-22 school year, Brecksville Police Officer and BBHCSD School Resource Officer Mark Krzynowek is completing rotations at each elementary school to lead D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) lessons with students in their classrooms. From April 11th-29th, Officer Mark will be at Highland Drive Elementary to help students learn about important safety topics, including recognizing risk and emergencies, key information to share when calling 911, peer pressure, safety and risk associated with medicines and other substances, and anti-bullying education. Students are engaged and enjoy the interactive nature of each lesson. Thank you to Officer Mark Krzynowek for helping our students learn about good decision making to live safe and healthy lives.
