BBHCSD Salutes Inductees to the Gallery of Achievement
The BBHCSD would like to formally congratulate Keith A. Ashmus, (Class of ’67), Neal Gravette (faculty ’65-’01) and Ann F. Stankiewicz (Class of ’72) on being inducted into the High School Gallery of Achievement. In a morning-long ceremony that took place in early October, these three inductees participated in the regalia and festivities that our district has reserved for those individuals who have greatly helped the greater community. Keith Ashmus earned a law degree from Yale University, was the chair of the Advisory Board for the Salvation Army of Greater Cleveland, in private law practice for many years and is the past president of the Ohio Bar Association, among other milestones. Mr. Gravette spent 39 years as a math teacher in the BBHCSD. He earned the BEA and PTA Friend of Education award and coached girls softball. Community members likely remember him as ticket-taker for many years as well. Ann F. Stankiewicz earned a Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology from Kent State University. She also established a scholarship opportunity for those in non-traditional career paths in chemistry and nursing. The BBHCSD would like to congratulate these individuals on their accomplishments and contributions. Well done, Keith A. Ashmus, Neal Gravette and Ann F. Stankiewicz, on being inducted as this year’s class for the Gallery of Achievement.
