District Testing Information
As the BBHCSD students and educators work through the unique challenges of the 2020-2021 school year, many questions regarding state testing requirements have been raised—specifically regarding Ohio’s State Tests (grades 3-8) and end-of-course exams (high school). These tests are required by federal and state law. To date, no sweeping legislation has been enacted that removes the legal requirement for all districts to administer spring testing for the 2020-2021 school year. BBHCSD is required to administer all of the following state-mandated tests for both in-person and online learners for spring, 2021:

High School:
ELA II                               Algebra
Geometry                        Integrated Math I
Integrated Math II            American Government
Biology

Grades 3, 4, 6 & 7:
ELA & Math

Grades 5 & 8:
ELA, Math & Science

As BBHCSD prepares for spring testing, the Ohio Department of Education has emphasized that all school districts should be attentive to the?safety of?students and staff. BBHCSD has been providing daily in-person instruction since January 19. Thus, we are confident all state testing can occur safely and effectively this spring.

In the coming weeks, please look for more information from your building principal regarding testing dates, times, locations and alike.

As always, thank you for your support, commitment, and partnership in the very important endeavor of educating your children!
