Bees Gymnastics Win 18th Straight State Title
BBHHS Gymnastics 2021 State Champs

The BBHHS Gymnastics program continued to build upon an awe-inspiring legacy of excellence by winning its 18th straight, and 21st overall OHSAA State Gymnastics Championship at Hilliard Bradley High School on Friday, March 5, 2021. The Bees won the team competition by edging out a competitive Chagrin Falls Kenston HS squad with a final score of 148.675 to 146.45. Each team member’s collective efforts contributed to the state title and included several noteworthy individual performances:
 

  • Kaitlyn Dembie earned first place in the Vault competition while finishing fourth in Uneven Parallel Bars and Floor events. 
  • Erin Delahunty – fourth place finish in All Around, 7th place in Vault;
  • Lindsay Kern – 5th place in Vault, 3rd place in Uneven Parallel Bars, 6th in Floor, and 7th in All-Around;
  • Ella Shaheen – 2nd place in Uneven Parallel Bars; 
  • Julia Salis – 10th place in Balance Beam;
