BBH High School Model UN Team Outstanding Effort at State Competition
Congratulations to the Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School Model UN team, who recently demonstrated an outstanding performance at this year’s State Competition held in Columbus, Ohio. Sponsored by the Ohio Leadership Institute, the Model UN Competition is a three-day simulation program whereby students represent selected member nations of the real-life UN, and participate in writing, presenting, and debating original solutions to global issues and problems. Congratulations to the following students for their remarkable achievements: Chloe Grayson, recognized with a Leadership Excellence Award for her exceptional preparation and guidance of the delegation. Layan Eltayieb was awarded Outstanding Delegate for her resolution focused on her home country of Sudan. The BBHHS Switzerland Delegation received the Outstanding Resolution Award, including members include John Uhlir, Charlie Chatal, Simon Youssef, Brody Larkins, Alex Koch, and Rocco Dean. Finally, BBHHS student John Uhlir was selected as Council President for the 2025 conference—a significant leadership accomplishment! Congratulations to our Bees for their hard work, dedication, and success in these events, representing our BBHCSD on a statewide stage regarding significant global matters.
