BBHCSD State of the Schools Presentation
The evening of Wednesday, October 30th was among the most significant in recent memory in the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools, as Superintendent Jeff Harrison delivered a State of the Schools presentation before an assembly of nearly 100 people from the community at the High School. You can see the State of the Schools presentation here. During the 60-minute presentation, Superintendent Harrison outlined the shared vision for this district, including an exciting Master Plan for the campus including the Hilton property, the Board Office area, and Middle and High School entryways and athletic complexes. The district’s new strategic plan was also unveiled to the audience, with a discussion of the new mission statement, rooted in three pillars to Educate, Empower, and Engage the school family in various ways. The very first Community Champion Awards were given out to local business organizations, Event Source and the Bibbo Family, along with the Ohio Landscapers Association for their prized partnerships with the district. The BBHCSD would like to thank the community members, staff, and the administrative team for their valuable insights over the 10-month process, which culminated in this State of the Schools. The strategic plan, master plan, and aspects of this presentation will continue to be shared over the next several weeks. Thank you for your continued support of the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools.
