The Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools would like to recognize several individuals among our High School student body for their recently noted excellence among the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards competition participants. Roxanne Edlind received a Gold Key award for her work, Linocut Robot. Allie Geduldig received a Gold Key award for her work, Peek a boo. Elena Miinea received both a Gold Key for Upper Antelope, and also a Silvery Key for Evolving Gossamer. The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards was founded in 1923 and is the longest running art award program in the United States, and the BBHCSD has long had students receive top honors in the competition. Congratulations to the BBHHS students who were recognized for their superb work with Gold Keys and Silver Key awards, and all the best to our Gold Key recipients, who will continue to the national competition which is hosted each spring in New York City.
