Shannon Williams Wins Female High School Athlete of the Year Honors from Greater Cleveland Sports Commission

Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School Senior Shannon Williams was recently honored with the high recognition of being named the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission’s Female High School Athlete of the Year. Shannon has been a star on the volleyball court for the BBHCSD for the last four years, and was selected among a group of student-athletes from throughout Northeast Ohio at a special ceremony at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel in Downtown Cleveland. Williams was named the 2016 Gatorade Ohio Volleyball Player of the Year after helping to lead the Lady Bees to a state championship last fall. Shannon has amassed a number of impressive statistics throughout her career in the district, and intends to continue her volleyball endeavors at the University of Cincinnati, starting in the fall of 2018. On behalf of the entire district, congratulations Shannon, and thank you for being a fine representative of the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools.
