Hilton Participates in Annual Jingle Bell Jog on Last Day Before Winter Break
Hilton Jingle Bell Jog

Students at Hilton Elementary School participated in a festive opportunity to get in some exercise during the day before the official start of Winter Break. As part of a program called the “Jingle Bell Jog,” all grade levels were open to participate in the event which required a $1 donation for each “jingle bell” that would be tied to a student’s shoe as they ran around the playground track behind the building in support of the cause. The limit of four Jingle Bells per student did not stop many students from generously donating even more money, which all goes towards helping families in the Hilton Elementary School community. Students and staff members, including program leader and physical education teacher, Amy Mauceri and principal Dr. Martin participated in the jog on the mild December afternoon, sporting coats, gloves and hats. This annual event was started in 2014 and has helped to assist many families during the holiday season during the time. Thank you to all who participated in this year’s Annual Jingle Bell Jog.
