A handful of classes at Brecksville-Broadview Heights Middle School recently engaged in a friendly competition that ultimately raised more than $740 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. As part of the annual “Change Wars” contest that takes place at the building to benefit this very important organization, two classrooms led by Mrs. Soeder and Mrs. Gundling, focused on bringing in different coin donations on different days of the selected week, with a final grand total of $741.04! The winning classroom received donuts and the satisfaction of know that in a joint effort, this sizeable sum of money was raised to help benefit such a worthy cause. Special thanks to Mrs. Taylor’s class, who helped count the donated change on a daily basis. Congratulations to the Middle School’s team of generous classrooms for their efforts in this cause.
