Chippewa Hosts Third Grade Wax Museum with Students
Chippewa Wax Museum

Third graders at Chippewa Elementary School hosted a “Wax Museum,” a highly interactive and creative event that permitted students to learn about important figures in history while demonstrating their imaginative talents. The gymnasium was transformed into a virtual museum providing parents and peer students the chance to “push a button,” to make the student wax figures come to life and share their respective stories. Example wax figures included famous people from past and present culture in politics, space exploration, professional athletics and the performing arts such as Annie Oakley, Louis Armstrong and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Nice job to the students in the third grade at Chippewa Elementary School for using a creative method to learn about important people from history.
