Another milestone was recently surpassed as part of the BBHCSD PreK-5 Construction project, and District officials were on-hand to participate in a small ceremony to ‘sign the first beam’ before its placement. Visitors to the construction site will note the progress being made upon observation of the grounds. Walls are beginning to form the shape of the infrastructure. Cranes, excavators and construction workers maintain a feverish pace. Yet earlier this week, representatives from Shook Construction paused to invite Superintendent Joelle Magyar, Treasurer Craig Yaniglos, Board Member Fred Pedersen and former Board Member Mike Ziegler to the site, to sign the very first beam commemorating the date of its placement. Pictures were taken. Signatures were written onto the beam. The construction crew provided a brief update of the project. The beam signing comes as the next milestone after the official groundbreaking which took place in July 2020 and signals another important step in the process. Thank you to everyone who participated.
