Kindergarten Readiness Assessment Parent Reports
At the beginning of the school year, our kindergarten children were assessed using Ohio’s Kindergarten Readiness Assessment Revised. This assessment includes ways for teachers to measure a child’s readiness for engaging with instruction aligned to the kindergarten standards.

The Kindergarten Readiness Assessment Revised is used to assess four areas of early learning:
  • Social Foundations- including social and emotional development, and approaches toward learning
  • Mathematics
  • Language and Literacy
  • Physical Well-being and Motor Development

The parent reports from the administration of the KRA-R will be mailed home this week. Please take the time to review your child's scores, keeping in mind that the assessment was given at the very beginning of the school year and the children have already made a good deal of progress in the classroom since that time.

Please click here to learn more about the KRA-R and to find suggestions for activities at home that would be beneficial to all children.

Feel free to contact your child's kindergarten teacher should you have additional questions about your child's scores.
