The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Schools Foundation (BBHSF) is excited to announce registration is open for the BBHSF Virtual Uphill Downhill Run 2020! The UPHILL DOWNHILL RUN is designed and dedicated to bringing awareness to mental health issues, the challenges they pose, and continue a dialogue around potential solutions, not only for our community, but specifically our students.
This 2 mile family-friendly run/walk event is open to all activity and ability levels. Participants can develop their own race course, the only requirement is to include a hill to signify the challenge of mental health issues. The walk/run can be completed anytime between October 17-24, 2020. We encourage participants to post pictures of themselves completing the challenge on the BBHSF Facebook page, or on other social media using the hashtags: #bbhsf #uphilldownhill2020 #bbheritage #beeonecommunity #mentalhealth #youmatter
We are also encouraging families and businesses to purchase signs as a donation which will be posted throughout both Brecksville and Broadview Heights during the week of the event. Signs will include positive messages about the importance of mental health. Signs can be purchased and donations can be made on the registration page.
All proceeds of this event will be donated to support the BBHCSD Mental Health Action Plan programming. Thank you for your support!
