Fox 8 News recently spotlighted the BBHCSD Transportation Department and the specific COVID-19 related health and safety precautions the District is implementing to protect students who will be using school bus transportation for the 2020-21 school year. Enhanced bus cleaning protocols include regular cleaning of high touch surfaces and disinfection using an electrostatic sprayer. Students will also be required to wear masks while riding on the bus and no more than two students will be allowed per seat. The number of daily student bus riders will be decreased due to the staggered schedule of the District’s Hybrid Learning Model. In addition, bus drivers will check the temperature of each student before they get off the bus at their assigned school building.
