TRANSITION TO REMOTE...

Beginning Monday, November 30, all students will participate in remote learning with their classroom teachers. The teachers have been busy preparing schedules for their students. Schedules will be shared with all families before the teachers leave for the Thanksgiving break. Teachers will be communicating with families regarding any resources that may need to be picked up for the remote learning plan. Those materials will be available for pickup during the designated time frame provided by the teacher. Materials will be bagged, labeled with each student's name, and will be located on tables out in front of the building.

Please do not hesitate to contact your child's classroom teacher should you have any questions as we transition to remote learning through the next several weeks.

HOLIDAY GIVING AT CHIPPEWA...

As we approach this holiday season at Chippewa School, we recognize that there are families in our community who may be facing financial hardships as we head into the upcoming holiday season. As a school community, we would like to help ease the burden and stress for those families who are in this position by providing assistance in some way.

Please let me know how we can help you and your family. The information will come directly to my office. Mrs. Clapper, the Chippewa school counselor, and I will be working with our staff and school community to secure items that have been requested. The specifics of any request will be kept in strictest confidence.

Please click here to access the form to complete. Submit the information to me by Friday, December 4. Please select all appropriate gift cards that would be of most help to your family.

It is our intention to brighten the holiday season for some of the families in our community.

Be on the lookout for more information to come home the week of December 7 detailing ways that families can help those in need.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING...

We are thankful for our families and for all that they do to support their children at home. Together we are a team dedicated to working on behalf of all of our children to ensure that they are successful in school each year.

From the entire Chippewa staff, have a Happy Thanksgiving...enjoy the time with close family members! Stay safe...and distanced...and wear a mask!
