Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School Senior Manith Humchad has earned an extremely high national honor in being named a semi-finalist for the coveted Coca-Cola Scholarship. This makes Manith one of only 1,609 Semifinalists who were chosen among more than 99,000 applicants this year, approximately in the top 1.6% of all qualifiers in the entire nation. Manith, and all other semifinalists, have earned this honor because of their outstanding leadership, academic achievements, and dedication to their community. Semifinalists were recently notified of their status and are completing detailed applications that will be evaluated by a review committee to make them finalists. The BBHCSD wanted to share this honor with everyone in our school community. Coca-Cola, one of the most notable corporate entities of all-time, recognizes students for demonstrating the qualities noted above and desires to be an active partner in our communities.
