BBHCSD Thanks Sherwin-Williams for Choosing our Community
The Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools is pleased to have learned about the recent news that Sherwin-Williams will develop a 500,000 square foot Research and Development Center as part of the Valor Acres site in Brecksville. While the news is certain to further enrich the Valor Acres project, the addition of the Sherwin-Williams facility will positively impact the fiscal situation of the District as well. The specific financial impact on the schools is still being finalized, however the District is certain to benefit from increased property taxes on the current undeveloped property once the proposed project’s development enhances its overall tax value. This news, along with the District’s construction of the new preK-5 elementary building, represents a great deal of current excitement and potential optimism for future and positive growth in our community for years to come. On behalf of everyone in the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools, a profound expression of gratitude is extended to Sherwin-Williams for selecting our school community for the construction of this new facility. We look forward to future partnership with your organization for many years to come. Stay tuned for more information on the Sherwin-Williams development plans and its impact on the BBHCSD.
