Grace Bird, a senior at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School, was recently awarded the distinguished federal Youth Education Scholars (YES) Program Scholarship and will use this honor to travel to Bulgaria for the 2018-2019 School Year. YES Program participants are full time students at a community college, university, or accredited vocational program or trade school, who meet application requirements from all over the United States. Grace is one of 65 scholarship recipients nationwide and will travel overseas to learn about various cultural experiences and their way of life in Bulgaria. The Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools congratulates Grace on her unique honor and high achievement.
