BBHCSD Appoints John Scott as Interim Treasurer
At a Special Meeting held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools Board of Education, by unanimous decision, appointed John Scott to be the Interim Treasurer for the District. This appointment comes in light of the resignation of Jeff Hall, which becomes effective on August 15, 2019, and at which time Mr. Scott will formally begin serving our school district. John Scott is a veteran Treasurer with nearly 40 years of experience working in public education finance in and around the Northeast Ohio region, most recently serving as Interim Treasurer and Treasurer of several other nearby school districts. Mr. Scott will fill the role of Interim Treasurer while the District conducts a comprehensive treasurer search to identify a permanent replacement. Mr. Scott maintains high standards for reporting, financial integrity and transparency and intends to bring these traits to the Treasurer’s Office in the District.
