Helpful Resources Available to Help Students Cope with Extended School Closure
Ongoing
disruptions to normal everyday routines due to the COVID-19 pandemic can be a
major source of anxiety and stress for everyone, especially children. The
BBHCSD is dedicated to helping students and their families navigate the new
reality of online learning during the extending school closure with useful and
informative resources. In particular, the National Association of School
Psychologists has published a free resource on their
website which includes helpful, age appropriate tips to talk to children about COVID-19, social distancing, relaxation techniques and other ways for parents and caregivers to support students during this unprecedented time. Additional information for families is available on the District’s COVID-19 Updates and
Resources page. The
BBHCSD hopes the above resources help our families to stay safe, healthy and
well.
