High School Teacher Sean Brennan Wins NEOEA’s Positive Image Award
Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School American Government Teacher, Mr. Sean Brennan, was recently awarded the Positive Image Award from the Northeast Ohio Education Association (NEOEA) for the 2019-2020 school year. Mr. Brennan received this award in part due to his leadership in hosting the annual naturalization ceremony at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School each and every year. "I receive a lot of help from my colleagues, so they share in this award," Brennan said. Juniors and seniors at the school witness several new citizens take their loyalty oath at the assembly. "It is an experience they will never forget. My hope is that they will have a new appreciation of the blessing of American citizenship," Brennan added. The award is given to members of the NEOEA who project a positive image of public education to the public. On behalf of everyone in the BBHCSD, congratulations to Mr. Brennan on winning this award.
