Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools Celebrates National School Lunch Hero Day!
Friday, May 1st is National School Lunch Hero Day, and on behalf of everyone in the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools, our entire family gives a pride-filled “shout out” to our food services team! Celebrated annually on the first Friday of every May, the National School Lunch Hero Day honors the individual men and women who go above and beyond to make the food services and cafeteria operation in our respective school districts a better place to be. Between preparing healthy meals for America’s students, adhering to strict nutrition standards, navigating student food allergies, and offering service with a smile, school nutrition professionals are true heroes. Friday, May 1st is the 8th annual celebration of National School Lunch Hero Day and we thank our dedicated food services team in the BBHCSD for all they do to make our meal preparation program so wonderful!
