The Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools proudly celebrated the four newest members of the Gallery of Achievement in the High School Auditorium on Friday, October 4, 2024. Congratulations to this year's inductees: Allison Glovna Clarke (Class of 1988), Sherry Zak Morris (Class of 1973), Gordon Boyd (Faculty), and Mark Robinson (Faculty). Each inductee was selected by the Gallery of Achievement Committee for distinguishing themselves through community service, personal development, and vocational accomplishment. A special thank you to Brecksville-Broadview Heights Alumni Association, Brecksville-Broadview Heights Schools Foundation, Brecksville-Broadview Heights Board of Education, Brecksville Chamber of Commerce, and Broadview Heights Chamber of Commerce, as well as all sponsors for their contributions and support. Gordon Boyd (Faculty)

- Directed BBHHS symphonic and marching band from 1965 to 1985
- Music Department Head and taught music appreciation classes
- Bowling Green State University Kappa Kappa Psi Award (1961)
- Took the BBHHS band to London to play for the World Soccer Finals in 1980 and the Winter Carnival in Quebec in 1984
- BBHHS Teacher of the Year multiple times
- Directed local band/orchestra performances for the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, Veterans Administration Hospital, and Spring Musicals
- Graduate Degree from the University of Iowa
Allison Glovna Clarke (Class of 1988)

- Graduated with honors from Boston College, Academic All-American in multiple sports, receiving multiple awards
- Career in television as producer at NBC Cleveland and ABC on-air reporter
- Established “Flashes of Hope” in 2001 as a non-profit foundation with chapters in 55 U.S. cities that provides photographs of children with cancer, photographing over 90,000 children capturing a moment in time to honor their courage
- The Kick-It” program was established in 2009 which began funding research for children’s cancer raising millions of dollars
Sherry Zak Morris (Class of 1973)

- 25-year career in technology sales and customer relations
- Honors graduate from Kent State University with a BS degree in Community Health Education
- Certified Yoga Instructor and founder of Vista Yoga Studio focusing on 50+ age group, specifically chair yoga
- Founded Take5Moment.com, recognized for Wellness Innovation for creating 5-minute streaming wellness videos with over 1,000 instructional Yoga and Fitness videos, 25 Yoga DVDs, including popular Chari Yoga videos with 25 million combined views on YouTube
- Founding Member of the Yoga Advisory Council for Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Organization
Mark Robinson

- 42 years of active service to Ohio education, currently serving as Superintendent at Buckeye Central Local Schools (Crawford County), Superintendent of Ashland City Schools and Niles City Schools
- Administration at BBHCSD for 20 years serving as HS Assistant Principal, MS Principal, HS Principal, and Assistant Superintendent
- Active in all fundraising, sports programs, boosters and community programs
- Initiated the graduating class composite picture, founding member of the Gallery of Achievement, and reinstated the 8th Grade Washington DC spring trip
- President of the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators
