Students from Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School recently participated in the “Share Your Holidays” event, sponsored by Channel 19 News and Marc’s in Broadview Heights. Broadcast in live television format, Channel 19 meteorologist Samantha Roberts joined football players, cheerleaders, members of the Brass Choir and the Bee mascot for the purpose of raising money and accumulating donated non-perishable food items such as canned good and unwrapped toys. The event was a huge success, where those passing by and who saw the broadcast live could drive up and drop off their donations. All charitably donated items, including monetary donations, were given to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, the Salvation Army and the Volunteers of America of Greater Cleveland. The Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools is dedicated to helping those in need in our community and proudly participated in this event.
