SADD Organization Helps to Collect More Than 1,400 Individual Pairs of Socks for Those In Need

As another testament to the generous individual contribution to those in need this holiday season, the BBHHS’s SADD organization helped to collect 1,418 individual pairs of socks for those in need during the last few weeks of school before winter break. Greatly exceeding group leadership’s expectations for donations, the individual pairs of socks were then recently delivered to the Westside Catholic Shelter to be distributed to those in need. Though students and staff all participated in the donations, Mr. Goodman’s class gathered 639 pairs of socks alone, which earned his classes hot chocolate and donuts upon returning from winter break. Thank you to everyone who participated in this act of generosity and kindness during the holiday season.
