Highland Drive students participated in an interactive science exhibit sponsored by Columbus-based COSI (Center for Science and Industry) on Friday, March 2, 2018. The exhibit centered around the theme of “Energy!” and began with an all-school assembly led by a COSI representative during the morning. Students returned to the gym later that same day by grade level to explore a wide variety of stations centered around the scientific concepts of forces and energy. Each experiment was coordinated by parent volunteers and student volunteers from the High School. In addition, all activities and concepts shared throughout the day supported Ohio’s Academic Content Standards. A big thank-you to the Highland Drive PSO for coordinating all volunteers and providing our students a fun and educational experience.
