Impressive Turnout at Chippewa Open House and Book Fair

Chippewa Elementary School experienced a positive turnout of parents and students at its Open House and Book Fair on Thursday, October 19th. The Open House was held from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM for students in grades 1-3. The evening provided an opportunity for parents to meet classroom teachers, and for students to show some examples of what they have been learning in school this year. A separate Open House event for Kindergarten students will be held in the spring of 2018. All Chippewa students and their families were invited to visit the Scholastic Book Fair sponsored by the Chippewa PSO from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, which featured a wide variety of books and fun-themed school supplies. The Scholastic Book Fair was a huge success, as the Chippewa PSO raised nearly $7,000 in funds which will be earmarked for the school’s Media Center! Chippewa Elementary School would like to thank its outstanding parents and students for attending and supporting the Open House and Scholastic Book Fair events.
