Hilton first grade student Steven Koch had the thrill of a lifetime by serving as ‘Principal for a Day’ on Friday, May 25, 2018.  Steven won the opportunity as a prize at the Fun ‘n’ Stuff Family Night Fundraiser in October.  As part of the special experience, Steven had the chance to sit at his own desk inside Principal Martin’s office, which included a walky-talky and personalized stationery.  Steven also picked out the day’s attire for himself and Principal Martin, which featured a white dress shirt, red tie and khaki shorts.  Official duties as ‘Principal for a Day’ included introducing special guest Jim Basketball Jones at a morning assembly and presiding over third grade students who won the opportunity to make Principal Martin into a “human sundae” at the end of the school day.  Great job Steven!
