The 2018-2019 School Year is officially underway in the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools, as students of all ages returned to welcoming teachers and staff members at buildings throughout the District. At Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School, the marching band provided a lively and upbeat greeting to students as they unloaded busses and met teachers, who lined the entrance walkway. Encouraging staff members gave “high-fives” and big smiles to some of the youngest students in the school district as well. The first day of school is also an opportunity for Superintendent Joelle Magyar to offer her annual State of the Schools presentation at Saint Michael’s Woodside facility to retired members of the BBHCSD staff. In all, the first day of school is an encouraging, exciting and very productive day in the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools, and we look forward to making this a very successful school year.
