On Monday, May 18th, fifth-grade students at BBH Intermediate School had an exciting opportunity to learn about different career paths from parents of their classmates. Career Day featured interactive presentations on a wide range of professional fields, including medicine, entertainment, veterinary, business, and restaurant and hospitality industries. From listening to an electronic stethoscope and viewing a model of the human heart to watching a demonstration of various magic tricks, students were engaged throughout each presentation. Each speaker also took time to answer any questions students had about education and training requirements, along with typical daily tasks and routines. Thank you to our parent volunteers for sharing their career expertise and experiences with our students!
