The BBHHS School Counseling Department is now providing you with a new, state-of-the-art on-line college planning and application processing system through this Naviance website. You will use Naviance to:

  • Research colleges that will match your unique set of traits and preferences
  • Explore career possibilities and match them to potential college majors
  • Submit requests for Transcripts
  • Explore scholarship opportunities
  • Track the application submission process
  • Create “to do” lists
  • Contacting your counselor and more!

College Credit Plus

College Credit Plus provides full and part-time college credit to secondary school students’ grades 7-12 who meet the admission requirements of a partnering college. Students that choose this option are enrolled in high school and college. Students are encouraged to select a 15 or 30 semester hour career pathway which will be determined in cooperation with local colleges.

Students selecting this program for the 2020-2021 school year need to indicate their intentions by April 1st of the year preceding enrollment. The student and parent must attend the mandatory evening information session on Monday, February 3, 2020 in the High School Auditorium at 7:00PM.

Included below is the information needed for current Sophomores and Juniors who are interested in applying to the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center for the 2020-2021 school year. Please pay close attention to all requirements and deadlines. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Drypolcher in the Counseling office. Thank you!


To obtain your TRANSCRIPT from Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School you must provide the following:

1. Your year of graduation or years of attendance on the office Release of Educational Records form downloadable below
2. The name you used at the time of your attendance
3. A completed Authorization to Release Educational Records form. No records will be sent without a completed form
4. A $2.00 check, cash or money order for each transcript you wish to have processed (both official and unofficial)
5. The name and address of the institution or person to whom you wish it to be sent
6. Your current phone number or e-mail address

Credit Flexibility

Credit Flexibility enables students to earn high school credit based on the demonstration of subject competency. Students may complete coursework, test out of a course, or pursue educational options. Please see the proposal process or discuss this option with your counselor. Deadlines are August 1 (for fall), November 1 (for spring), and May 1 (for summer).
