About

The Brecksville Broadview Heights City School District is comprised of the entire city of Brecksville, most of Broadview Heights, and a small segment of North Royalton. The district population is approximately 27,000 residents.

Approximately 3,800 students are enrolled in the Brecksville Broadview Heights School District and attend classes in our one high school (9-12), one middle school (6-8) and new PreK-5 elementary school. High school students may also attend the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center for a comprehensive career preparedness experience, which is located in Brecksville.

Our school district enjoys the tremendous cooperation and support of an active Parent School Organization (PSO), music and athletic booster groups, the Cities of Brecksville and Broadview Heights, and many civic and community organizations.

The district has consistently earned 5 stars on the State of Ohio Report Card, earned National Blue Ribbon awards from the U.S. Department of Education at the High School, Middle School, and Elementary levels.

Brecksville Broadview Heights High School is home to the Bees Gymnastics team, winner of twenty-two consecutive state championships, as well as the 2023 VEX Robotics World Champion Robotics Team. Our district is also proud to have highly valued student organizations including our award-winning music, orchestra, and performing arts programs.

As a district, the BBHCSD exists to rigorously educate our students to the highest standards, to boldly empower our school family with exciting learning experiences, and to collaboratively engage our community to cultivate productive future citizens of a global society. The BBHCSD seeks to be a destination district by pushing the boundaries of academic excellence and expanding innovative opportunities for students, while advocating for all, in a safe and accountable educational environment.
