Organized by our district science coordinator, Michelle Leizman, second graders pretended to be paleontologists as they participated in a fossil dig. The children did a great job finding and identifying real fossils. Each child was able to bring one fossil home to share.
Miss Allar's second graders were split into four groups to teach Mrs. Huber's first graders about forces in motion - pushes and pulls. The groups came up with a plan for how to introduce their experiment and then assisted the first graders in completing the activities.
