Chippewa Students Create Fun and Instructive Props for Fenway and Hattie Story Being Enjoyed by Elementary Schools as Part of Three Schools, One Book Effort
Fenway and Hattie

Fenway and Hattie, the lovable new children’s book series, which introduces a little Dog with a large personality and his human friend is presently being enjoyed by Chippewa, Hilton and Highland Elementary Schools as part of the District’s Three Schools, One Book Initiative. All families of elementary school students have been asked to incorporate this story into their nightly reading routine during the month of March, so that each of our students can enjoy and then discuss and collaborate on questions about the book during the school day. Some of the buildings are even making practical applications of the story’s themes, by incorporating creative projects into their learning days. Nearby is a picture of some student artwork being utilized the help reinforce the main ideas. The BBHCSD strongly encourages families to continue reading together to supplement classroom literary work. Thank you for your continued support of the BBHCSD and this reading effort.
