BBHCSD Announces Resignation of High School Varsity Football Coach Jason Simonetti, Will Begin Process of Identifying Replacement Candidates
Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School Varsity Football coach Jason Simonetti has formally resigned his position after completing his first full season in this capacity. Simonetti, who also serves the district as a business teacher, was a long-time assistant coach prior to being named head coach this past spring. He cited a desire to spend more time with his wife and young family as the reason he decided to step down.  He led the Bees to an overall record of 4 wins and 6 losses this past season.

“We cannot thank Coach Simonetti enough for the hard work and dedication he displayed as our head football coach.  He is a good football coach and a good man, and we wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors.” said Mark Maslona, Director of Athletics for the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools. “We will immediately begin the process of hiring a new coach.”

The BBHCSD will be posting the opening of this position and will follow its standard protocols for identifying new applicants to be the next head coach. More information will be forthcoming in the near future from the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District, so please stay tuned through the district website and social media. Immediate inquiries can be made to Mark Maslona, Director of Athletics, by calling 440-740-4770.
